A Star In My Hands is a student, 3D animated group project, created in Blender. It tells the story of a young boy who is playing in a handmade cardboard rocket in his bedroom. He starts to imagine himself actually being in space, among the stars and planets and navigating his rocket through them, before heading down the stairs, passing a photo of his dad in a space suit.
I’m With You
I’m With You is a student, individual, final year animation. It was created using a mix of 3D modeling and 2D grease pencil. The story follows a little white cat as she stuggles with the loss of her owner, an elderly man. She meets an orange butterfly who reminds her a lot of him and who helps her feel loved once again.
Duck Pond was a student assignment to show the transformative power of music, animated in Toon Boom Harmony. After a pair of headphones fall into a pond, a curious duck puts them on and imediately becomes entranced by what she hears. She transforms into a human girl who dances on different coloured and patterned backgrounds with every song change. All the while, the ducks wings are flapping so much she’s splashing all the other ducks in the pond.
